Celio, a fashion brand, has enlisted our consulting and training services in the product innovation sector to conduct a design thinking workshop focused on the 'Reverse Brainstorming' method. This workshop aimed to equip the product teams at Celio with the necessary tools and techniques to drive innovation in their product development process. The workshop was structured around three key steps:
The first step involved defining the framework for the ideation process. This included a complete briefing on the brand's DNA, identifying the typology of products to be studied, and qualifying the customer needs. In addition, we worked with Celio to identify and create personas that represent their target customers. Such a step was the foundation for the ideation process that follows.
At this stage, our team of experienced designers and engineers collaborated with Celio's product teams to develop innovative product concepts through active market research and the use of relevant technologies. This included exploring various product ideas and proposing associated design concepts that meet the needs and preferences of Celio's target customers. The ideation process involved a combination of brainstorming sessions, sketching, prototyping, and user testing.
The final step of the workshop was to compile a comprehensive report that summarises the generated concepts, ideas for reflection, explanations of the technologies involved, and design mock-ups. The report served as a reference document for Celio's product teams and provided them with actionable insights and recommendations for future product development initiatives. Overall, this workshop enabled Celio's product teams to adopt a more customer-centric approach to product development, leading to the creation of innovative products that resonate with their target audience.
